The biOrb 60 offers the greatest choice and of any biOrb Classic aquarium, with the option to upgrade to a Marine setup using the Marine Conversion Kit. The biOrb 60L aquarium comes with everything you need to set up a safe, stylish and bowl aquarium in your home.
Family Sized biOrb
The biOrb 60 is the latest edition to the biOrb range. Made from strong, crystal clear acrylic with a capacity of 60 litres (16 US Gallons) of water and weighing 60 kilos (132 pounds) when full, it's ideal for most types of fishkeeping. Available in 8 different colours and supplied complete with a 5 stage internal filter, ceramic media, air pump, plug top 12 volt transformer, halogen light unit (LED light is optional at extra cost), water treatment, fish food and full set of instructions – just add water and fish. With safety as a major design feature the biOrb 60 is operated at 12 volts ac power which reduces the risk of accidental electric shock.
Quick and Easy Setup
You'll be amazed at how simple and quick the biOrb 60 is to setup. The aquarium comes with everything you need to start keeping a variety of fish, just add water and fish. Nothing is more frustrating than getting home to find you need something else, which is why we include everything you need in the box, even the fish food! Unlike many aquariums the biOrb 60 uses low voltage lights and pumps ensuring complete safety at all times. Even the aquarium itself is constructed using super strong acrylic which won't shatter like glass if accidentally knocked.
Low Maintenance
The biOrb 60 makes mainteance easy, compared to similar sized aquariums the biOrb 60 has the biggest biological filtration system (in fact many aquariums with external filters have less biological filtration). Also the biological filtration in the biOrb 60 remains in the aquarium at all times, ensuring that filtration is not disturbed when maintenance is carried out. The biOrb offers multi-stage filtration, every cartridge contains mechanical filtration, chemical filtration and water optimizers to give your fish the ideal water conditions and keep maintenance lower for you.
