We know all our suppliers personally and with over 300 years heritage of working in the agricultural and food business, Burgess has forged strong links with the farming community. We try to source our ingredients from local farmers wherever practical whilst ensuring the highest quality. For example the grass we use in Burgess Excel is grown a tractor drive away from our mill in Yorkshire - we like to think of our food as having tractor miles, not air miles.

My 2 elderly chinchillas absolutely love these. They can be very selective in what they eat, so I was very surprised when they ignored the raisins and monkey nuts which are (were!) their favourites in favour of these. I cut each stick in two and they ate every scrap. I am going to try them on the other flavours next.
No negatives. Just a healthy, tasty treat for the girls.

I own Hutches Small Animal Boarding & Rescue in Alyth, Perthshire.
These treats really do go down a treat.
I use them for rabbits, guinea pigs, Chinchillas and Degu`s when they come to stay for a holiday.
With the 3 flavours on offer they can have a different one each week.
I also use these treats as part of my taming process of very nervy rabbits and guinea pigs.
No one can resist Burgess Excell grass treats.
