My cat was straight on this, with or without catnip added. She sat on it at every opportunity.

The only problem is the bits of shredded cardboard. But this happens with the rope on a regular scratch post anyway, its not hard to sweep or vacuum.

I would like to see a picture for each of the styles so I can choose between them next time.

I wasn`t expecting much from this but both my cats love using this and take turns sleeping on it. It`s rarely vacant.

The catnip is also effective and induces quite a bit of rolling around.

I might buy a second so they can both have one at the same time.

FYI I bought the jungle striped version which is pretty much flat.
