If you have a large powerful dog or one that pulls on the lead, you will know how exhausting walks can be. Dogs of all sizes can pull on the lead to the point of choking themselves.
The Halti was designed by Dr Roger Mugford to come to the rescue of such dogs and their owners. Its revolutionary design is based on the same principle as a horse's head collar - if you guide the head, the body will surely follow.
Naturally following the contours of a dogs face and positioned well down the dog's nose, the Halti gives you maximum steering power and control. The particular advantage of the Halti is its unique on-off muzzle-closing effect: when the dog attempts to lunge forward or attack, his jaws are closed by the slip ring. When he is relaxed or friendly, he can pant easily and act just like a dog. The soft material and careful design and construction ensures the Halti is comfortable and in many dogs can create a pronounced calming effect.
Halti comes in six sizes in black with sizes 1-4. For dogs with sensitive noses such as Boxers or Shar Pei's we recommend a padded Halti. To find out which size is suitable for your dog, please refer to our sizing guide.
Sizes indicated are for typical adult dogs - bitches or juveniles may need a size smaller. It is important to have the correct fitting for every dog - see instructions inside the packaging.

I used to have problems with walking my lab. As a very head strong dog, he sometimes used to be difficult to control whilst on a lead. I tried attaching his lead to his collar, then bought a harness but to no avail. I came across this item whilst browsing and thought why not?! It works brilliantly, from first use as well. For the first time i'm in control. Leo now walks beside me, i'm never dragged anywhere and feel like the boss again. I once again look forward to taking him out for walks and spending that quality time with him!

Wowza what a fantastic product! I was reluctant to use one of these on my `want to be boss` puppy labrador. Like most labs shes very headstrong though and the bigger she gets the harder she pulls! Not anymore though this collar gently tugs in none aggressive manner and is calming for her making walks so much more relaxing. Shes like a different dog I am over the moon. From the first use expect great results. An absolute must have for the pup with more pulling power then the worlds strongest man.

Tried the halti after various other brands and this one is by far the simplest to use and definately the most comfortable for my labradoodle, Milo!
There have been times when I have felt so mean, as some headcollars are far too close to his eyes and looked so uncomfortable I couldn`t bear to use them on him, prefering to be dragged around the streets instead!
With the halti I feel I have good control without compromising Milo`s comfort.
I found size 3 to be the perfect size for Milo who has quite a long nose despite weighing 42kg.
