I bought this under the impression that it would be suitable for all small animals, and given the picture on the front, I believed this included rabbits. However, my rabbits really do not like it. It is way to hard under their feet and 30 litres does not cover a very large space so it is not at all economical. Despite this, it is pretty suitable for my rats and they seem to like it. I would only buy this if you have a small rodent or a small cage with which to fill, otherwise it just isn`t worth it.

I use this in my rat`s litter trays but have found it very good for using on the bottom of my Lovebird`s cage -they love poking around in it and it is easy to remove the droppings as they clump in it. It is dust free so good for their lungs and sterilised so no germs.

I started using this when I got my Continental Giant rabbit. It`s brilliant. It soaks everything up, holds the odour and she loves digging in it although I do cover it with a layer of hay as she prefers that way. It`s also much easier to clean up than shavings and she can`t trail it all over my flat.
