I have two innuits they chased after the lob it and then promptly destroyed two off them. The stuffing came out in a couple of throws! Unless your dog is gentle or you have a super complaint mut who will leave it when told! Dont bother, great idea BUT do these manufacturers test their toys out on REAL DOGS!!I have two who would like the job!

My two large very real dogs love these. It`s the only new toy my nine year old has taken to for years and he`s reverted to puppy with it. It`s incredibly noisy, squealing at the least touch so not available round the house. And it really sets off prey responses so it`s not for dogs with strong shake, kill and dismember reflexes. I also have to make sure they don`t get left in the garden or they get dismembered by foxes. But for my gentle mouthed gun dog types it is quite brilliant.

My two Parson Russell Terriers adore this toy - they not only enjoy its noise (and its very noisy!) but they like to play Tug with it. It is made of a strong rubber and they have not managed to damage it at all in 8 months of playing tug! Can`t say that about many toys!

This is a really good toy. I`ve never come across anything like it before. It has the strangest feel to it. It feels like there is a soft cotton wool type filling but with a latex outing covering. It makes a really loud squealing squeak which is most unusual. My labrador puppy loves it and it is the longest lasting ball I`ve found for her. She loves to grab hold of the horns and swing it around bashing herself in the face. Because it is so soft there is no chance of her damaging herself or anything else when she lets go of it! I did think that it probably wouldn`t last long and she would get the squeak out but no, she hasn`t even tried to get to the squeak. It might drive some people mad with the sound it makes but I just love to see her enjoying herself with it. She runs round and round the house with the squealing thing in her mouth. I have bought the small size which is ideal for when we go to the park as it fits in your pocket, and the medium size one which she plays with indoors and in the garden. The price is quite a lot for a ball but, unless you have a very destructive dog they do last really well. I have bought other cheaper latex squeaky balls and they last no time at all. These balls are something else!

Our 7 month old pup is big (staff x american bulldog) he has only ever destroyed the campervan vinyl squeaky toy. He loves this lob-it toy, retrieving/carrying by the ears. As he squeezes it in his mouth it is pliable and doesnt puncture...suprisingly. Im also amazed he hasnt torn the ears off, hes quite gentle with it and every day its one of his regular toys that he takes out of his ikea bagful of toys and the one he most commonly brings to me to play/throw/fetch.

Brought the medium version of this toy for our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy as it looked like fun. He absolutely loves it and chases around after it bringing it back using either the body or the horns. It has ripped slightly but it still squeaks as before and so it is still a firm favourite. Luckily my dog has not tried to chew this as I don`t think it would stand up to much but for us this has been an excellent toy.
