I use this and it does keep the smell at bay and is easy to clean the tray after use.
Almost perfect

We have tried several different kinds of cat litter from crystals to wood to clumping clay. We have two cats so we were looking for something relatively inexpensive, easy to clean, lasts for approximately a week with daily scoopings, and minimal smell. This litter is brilliant on all of these essentials, the best we have tried! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that a small amount does get tracked out by our cats as they leave the box. Highly recommended.

I actually don`t use this for my cats but for my rats, believe it or not. A lot of people mistakenly use sawdust around small furries such as rats and gerbils. Actually, the dust is very harmful to their respiratory systems and should be avoided at all costs. So many rat illnesses can be prevented by using a dust-free paper bedding instead of sawdust.
Not only does paper litter absorb liquid and odours well but it is also far more environmentally friendly as it can be composted.
It is also ideal for using in nursing cages as mummy rat can make a warm, comfy nest for her brood with very little effort.
I recommend paper litter to anyone who keeps small furries.
