We purchased the Rotastak Creepy Castle for our daughter?s hamster (yet to be bought). Even though the delivery was estimated as 7 to 10 working days, it arrived within 3 days! The cage was a little tricky to put together even though the instructions were clear (anti gnaw rings have to be put on inside of pod where the tube is going into). The cage is larger than it looks on the picture and looks good once assembled.

The Creepy Castle is the perfect pet home - as hamsters can roam up to 10 kilometres a night so they need a large house especailly if like mine they have long hair so can`t use a wheel. I didn`t construct the tubes as it shows in the photo as my hamster would never get up the vertical parts so I re-arranged it as it`s designed to. Every time I wash it I put it together differently to give my hamster a bit of variety.
It`s perfect as for Christmas or Birthday I can get more bits to add on if I want to. The travel box is easy to escape from so I don`t use it on the cage I only use it for travelling as I can tape the top shut with masking tape and also hold it on my knee. I do use it when I`m cleaning him out though.
I don`t use the anti-gnaw rings as my hamster doesn`t eat the plastic, he has other things to keep his teeth short on.
Overall the Rotastak system may seem expensive but it`s so versatile and easy to replace parts. I have a pod that I`ve have for 14 years that is still in great condition so I`m hoping this one will last just as long. I would definitely say buy this one!!
