I fell in love with this cage, being a huge pink fanatic, and excitedly purchased it for a pair of my young gerbils.

Unfortunately, the size shocked me a little. Two Gerbils was pretty much the limit, so definitely a cage more for single hamsters.

The tunnel designs was also a bit of a blow. The Gerbils really struggled to grip the plastic, especially on the vertical sections of the spiral tunnel, which also caused the attic bedroom to become void as they just couldn`t climb up into it.

The tunnels where also insainly difficult to put together, to the point where I dreaded cleaning out. On average 20-30 minutes was spent just fixing the tunnels together and getting them to conjoin!

However, the ventilation and access points are very good and the opportunity for expansion with tunnels etc is a lovely touch. I also really liked the fixed pink plastic wheel and matching water bottle/bowls.

Definitely a cage more suited for a hamster, but really pretty and certainly brightened up the living room!
