Less active species, who prefer to graze, may find it hard to compete with other fish at feeding time. To ensure these fish get the nutrition they need, Tetra has developed a 24hr feeding block as part of the Tetra Marine Gel food range. With two varities for both herbivorous and omnivorous species, it is now possible to cater for aquariums containing species with diverse feeding habits.
Excellent water quality is essential for marine aquariums and yet food can be one of the main sources of waste poduction due to the use of poor quality diets or over feeding. If frozen foods are not properly thawed and washed, they can pollute the water with additional unwanted substances. With Tetra Marine Gel foods this is not a problem, because there is no waste water, and they are subjected to a carefully controlled production and quality control process. So, as well as providing a better quality diet, they also help to maintain good water quality.
