Hills Science Plan Performance 15kg~Science Plan* Canine Performance* is formulated to meet all the nutrient and energy requirements of active adult dogs from maturity (12 months old) until 7 years old~NUTRITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS (Compared to Science Plan* Canine Adult)
- Energy - significantly increased, to reduce dry matter intake
- Fat and Fat digestibility - high to provide increased energy
- Protein - controlled to avoid excess
- Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium - controlled to avoid excess

INDICATIONS
Science Plan* Canine Performance* is formulated to meet all the nutrient and energy requirements of active adult dogs from maturity (12 months old)until 7 years old

1. Working, hunting and sled dogs.
OBJECTIVE - To provide a high energy, highly digestible food, with calories available mainly from highly digestible fat, and to avoid protein excess by very active animals.

2. Finicky eaters and dogs that are stressed or have a nervous disposition.
OBJECTIVE - To provide an energy-dense, very palatable food.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR
1. Cats.
2. Inactive, obese-prone dogs.
3. Hyperlipidaemic dogs.
4. Pregnant or lactating bitched. During pregnancy and in lactation bitches should be switched to Science Plan* Puppy or Science Plan* Puppy Mini.

INCREASED ACTIVITY - During periods of greater activity, feed a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the above amounts 2-4 hours before the activity starts. Then in the evening (at least one hour after the activity has finished) feed the dog free choice (i.e. ad lib.) for about 30 minutes.

Factors by which to multiply the amounts in the above feeding guide to obtain a realistic estimate of the daily intake of Canine Performance required by more active dogs, are as follows:

1 hour's light work = 1.1
1 full day's hard work = 2 - 4
1 full day's light work = 1.4 - 1.5
Cold weather = 1.25 - 1.75

However, these quantities should be used as a starting point only, and should be adjusted as required to maintain the ideal body weight.

Science Plan Canine Performance should not be supplemented. During periods when dogs are not working, switch back to Science Plan Canine Adult. Sufficient fresh water should always be available, even during periods of work.INGREDIENTS
