TetraPond® UV Clarifier~Highly efficient UV clarifiers, which permanently eradicate green water. For ponds containing up to 35,000 litres.~Green water is caused by the presence of millions of suspended algae cells, which multiply rapidly during the spring and summer. Not only is green water unsightly, but it can also adversely affect the water quality in the pond. TetraPond UV lights will permanently remove green water, by destroying it and allowing the filter to sieve it out. TetraPond UV lights come with a 2 year guarantee. How it Works
TetraPond UV lights produce ultraviolet light in the wavelength that is most effective against the algae which causes green water. As water passes through the light, algae is killed and clumped together, allowing it to be easily removed in the filter.

How to Use
TetraPond Ultraviolet lights should be installed out of the pond, prior to the filter box. When selecting the correct model, make sure that the flow rate it can handle matches the flow rate of your pump. Always read the instructions carefully prior to installation and maintenance. The UV bulb should be replaced every 12 months, and the quartz sleeve cleaned carefully when needed.
