Product details

Advance Veterinary Diets Articular Care Dog Food is a complete diet for dogs of all ages and puppies over 6 months who suffer from Osteoarthritis problems

How it works

This dry kibble is enriched with specific ingredients to help treat dogs with joint disorders, promoting joint health after surgery. Joint pain can be minimised, thanks to its hyaluronic acid content, which lubricates the cartilages between the bones and reduces the inflamation. The combined action of chondroitin sulfate and vitamin K2 help to protect the bone and glucosamine with hydrolised collagen reduce the cartilage degradation. Bone mobility is improved by essential Omega 3 fatty acids together with hyaluronic acid and antioxidants.

Key Benefits:

  • Complete dry food for dogs and puppies aged 6 months + with articular problems
  • Hyaluronic acid improves bones mobility and reduces joint pain
  • Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfate stimulate cartilage metabolism and inhibit its degradation and calcification, maintaining its functions of support and absorption of compression forces
  • Contains Vitamin K2 supplements (MK-7) which helps decrease the risk of bone mass loss the risk of fractures and incidence of osteoarthritis
  • Essential Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) minimises the joint pain caused by inflammation
  • Hydrolised Collagen helps prevent cartilage degradation
  • With moderate calories to reduce the body weight of obese dogs by decreasing the stress and pain caused by the effects of mechanical forces on the joints.

When to use it

Dogs prone to obesity can develop Osteoarthritis, because of the body weight they need to carry, causing mechanical forces on the joints. If you think your dog has a mobility issues like holding limbs awkwardly, not being able to run or struggling with climb stairs, take him to the vet for a full check-up and diagnosis. If your dog had a surgery or suffered a cartilage trauma, this recipe can help in the treatment. Advance Veterinary Diets Articular Care Dog Food provides specific balanced diet for dogs with joint disorder, helping to reduce the symptoms that cause joint pain and inflamation and preventing the risk of bone mass loss or fractures. The moderate calorie content promotes weight loss, reducing fat deposits, which in turn will cut the pressure on the joints in obese dogs.
Always follow the feeding guide mentioned on the package to make sure your dog is getting the right amount for their weight, age, breed.
