Made with plenty of fresh meat and bursting with nutritious, natural ingredients, Canine Choice means feeding your dog the best every day.

Canine Choice Adult Medium is a complete, high quality kibble packed with real meat, health-protecting mineral extras and natural ingredients, carefully chosen to actively support your dog’s health.

Medium sized breeds are known for their boundless energy and playful spirits, so they need a diet which provides them with plenty of fuel as well as lots of high quality meat protein for muscle maintenance. Fortunately, that’s just what’s on the menu with Canine Choice – 60% chicken, salmon, or lamb meat of which a high percentage is fresh; sweet potato for energy and dietary fibre; and vegetables and natural botanicals to support all-round health.

“If you want something done right, do it yourself”– words our resident vet, Andrew, really took to heart when he’d had enough of substandard dog food and created Canine Choice. Dogs don’t need cheap fillers and allergens like beef, wheat and soya – they need a meat-rich, high quality, balanced diet, and pet parents need to know they’re getting the best possible value for their money.

Canine Choice offers your dog…

  • A diet rich in fresh meat – highly digestible and full of essential protein
  • Tailored to medium breeds – made to match the energy and nutritional requirements of adult dogs between 11 - 25kg

Feeding Guide

If this is the first time you’re feeding your dog Canine Choice it’s easy to switch from their current food over the course of a few days. Start of by replacing 25% of their existing food with this one, then increase the amount of the new food by 25% every other day until they’ve fully made the switch.

And one last thing – we know a feeding table isn’t the most exciting thing to study, but please do take care to read it, as your puppy is likely to need a different amount of Canine Choice per day than their previous diet (as it’s so full of goodness and energy per gram). As with any diet change, it’s good to keep an eye your pet's weight.

  • Definitely my canines choice.
Changed to Canine Choice chicken flavour after having a sample bag delivered. My 4 year old border collie adores this food! We have had so many comments about his coat, it is noticeably softer since we changed him from his other food. I was worried about changing his food as he has a sensitive tummy with bouts of Colitis since he was young but he has had no episodes at all since we have changed. It's so nice to see him excited at meal times!

  • happy dog, happy owner
My collieXstaffie has endless problems with her tummy, the latest bout of colitis was nasty. I thought it time to try a cereal free kibble and saw Canine Choice while looking through this site. She has been on the salmon food for three weeks and no sign of colitis, her stools have been better too, not so much struggling. I know she will always have a very sensitive tum but at least she can enjoy her food again. Needless to say, she is very happy with her new diet, and will take a couple of pieces happily as treats instead of biscuit. A big thank you from her!

  • Fantastic!
I'm not a massive fan of human food myself, so this was a great alternative. I eat this for pretty much every meal, even though my doctor says it is making me il I still eat it because it tastes so good. If i get a dog one day i will not feed them this because this should be enjoyed by humans, none of my mates will try it though... what is your opinion on this fabulous scran?

  • Happy Collie
We have a very active Border Collie and find she is in much better shape. We started to feed her Canine Choice in January and go through one bag in roughly 5 weeks, so the good price is most welcome. We buy the flavours alternating and so far tried them all. She eats them all with enthusiasm, whereas before she needed lots of add ons like an egg, a spoonful of natural yogurt or milk, piece of cheese) to finally start eating. I noticed her poo is a bit softer and easier for her to discharge, and she poos a in more frequent smaller bits on the walkies than before one huge one for which she would sometimes struggle. She has very shiny coat and does not scratch herself so much anymore. We will stay on it, great stuff!
