Ideal for use on whelping bitches/nursing queens in order to maintain and regulate their metabolic rate.
Contains calcium - an essential nutrient used to promote healthy bone and growth structure in young animals.

I've been using Collocal D for many years for my Chihuahuas. It is a safe and excellent way to supply extra calcium for expecting and lactating mums. This is important in helping prevent eclampsia in the mums without putting too much bone structure on puppies - definitely NOT desired in tiny breeds. It is very easy to give - either in food or drink. I'd recommend it to anyone breeding small dogs
