Hill's Prescription Diet Feline d/d
For cats struggling with allergies, Hill's Prescription Diet Feline d/d is a nutritious food that helps to calm their allergies and keep them healthy.
What it’s for
Signs that your cat may have an allergy could include difficulty eating, diarrhoea, vomiting or painful skin. They might also seem less energetic than usual. If you spot any of these in your cat, make sure you have a chat with your vet, because sometimes they can sometimes suggest a serious problem.
It’s not unusual for cats to develop allergies at any point in their lives. Luckily, working around the allergy to provide them with a great quality of life is always possible. One of the easiest things that you can do is to switch your cat to a hypoallergenic food, like Hill’s Prescription Diet Feline, which delivers the same nutrition as ordinary cat food, without triggering your cat’s allergies. Allergies can cause nasty illnesses, so it’s important to tackle them quickly.
- soy- and gluten-free, so it’s gentle on your cat’s digestion
- high in omega-3 fatty acids to reduce your cat’s itching
- can be used in a food elimination diet.
How it works
Hill's Prescription Diet Feline is designed to give your cat all the tasty nutrition they need without triggering their allergies. The recipe avoids the proteins and carbohydrates that commonly trigger allergies (such as fish and beef), using other protein sources to keep your cat getting the goodness they need without getting ill.
As an added plus, the food also contains extra omega-3 and omega-6 acids, which help keep your cat’s coat looking shiny and glossy (as well as soothing any itchy skin caused by allergies).
Veterinary diets like this one have been specially made to support pets with specific medical conditions. Because of this, they might not be suitable for all pets, so we'd recommend getting professional advice before feeding them to your pet. If you think your cat could benefit from eating Hill’s Prescription Diet Feline d/d, why not have a chat with your vet?

Love the new resealable bags!It is very easy to open the new bag and to reseal it after use.
Great for my cat with lots of allergiesMy cat suffers from food and skin allergies so this food is great for her and to top it off she loves the taste!
Great Relief! My Ragdoll girl has been diagnosed with IBS and was put on this food. Wonderful! She is so much better now and seems to enjoy this food. It is so much cheaper through Pet Supermarket, which is a relief as this is all she eats! Recommend both the food and this site.
My cat loves Hills Prescription Diet Feline d/dI find the dry food rather oily but our cat loves it. I think the oil coating makes each biscuit heavy so the portions we serve tend to be small, leaving our cat wanting more. He has allergies to a range foods so this product is all he can have.
Delicious and effectiveOur cat finds this delicious and eats up all his meals. We have to weigh out his daily ration or he'd eat more than he should. Most importantly, fur is growing back in his bald patches. Soon he'll be fully covered with fur again.
