Hill's Prescription Diet Joint Care j/d Reduced Calorie Dry Dog Food - Chicken
Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine j/d Reduced Calorie Joint Care has been specially made for dogs that have trouble walking, running or playing. It’s been proven to help them get more active within 21 days.
How it works
Fish oil is great for joint health, because it has plenty of Omega-3. This is a fatty acid, and it can soothe your dog’s painful joints. The food also contains glucosamine. This is a special supplement that really strengthens your dog’s cartilage. Cartilage is important, as it’s the muscle and tissue that surrounds your dog’s bones. Strong and healthy cartilage means your dog can enjoy a good play in the park more often, because it will make their joints much stronger.
This food has been carefully made to provide a healthy, balanced diet. That means it could help your dog stay at the weight that’s best for them.
- contains special ingredients that help to reduce your dog’s joint pain

When to use it
If your dog has arthritis, or bad joints, then it might be a bit harder for them to run and play. You’ll probably notice this when you take them for a walk, or throw their favourite toy. If your dog looks like they’re finding it hard to get up the stairs, or chase that stick, then Hill's Prescription Diet Canine j/d Reduced Calorie Joint Care might be able to help. It’s perfect if your dog’s a bit older, too.
Because veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of pets with specific clinical conditions, we recommend that you only use them under professional advice. Fantastic food!My 13 year old arthritic dog has eaten this for over a year now. She went from hardly being able to get up to walking miles. It has made such a difference! Can't fault this food. Worth paying that bit extra for. Was recommended by my vet.
Great for old dogsMy old Labrador has been in this for a long time and it keeps his weight down as well as being good for his joints
