Royal Canin Feline Urinary S/O
Experts have created Royal Canin Feline Urinary S/O to soothe and treat the symptoms of your cat's lower urinary tract disease.
What it's for
The main symptoms of lower urinary tract disease are peeing more often, painful peeing or pee with blood in it. If you've noticed your cat having similar trouble, get them to the vet as soon as possible because this type of disease can become more serious. It's likely your vet will diagnose something like bladder inflammation or stones in your cat's urinary tract. Most conditions are easy to treat with special food and/or medicine.
Prevention, as they say, is better than cure, and there are lots of things you can do to lessen the chances of your cat getting an infection. If your cat's more fatty than fluffy, helping them lose weight will help prevent all sorts of health problems. A diet like Royal Canin Light Weight and plenty of exercise are a good place to start. Cats who don't drink enough are at risk of urinary issues, too; making sure your cat has plenty of clean, fresh water should always be a priority.
- dissolves bladder (struvite) stones
- low magnesium levels to help stop stones forming
- dilutes urine, making it hard for crystals to form
- choice of flavours – even fussy eaters will love it!
How it works
It's always super important to give your cat all the nutrients they need, but even more so when they're ill. This complete food does exactly that and gives your pet's bladder and urinary tract some extra support, too.
The food is made with lots of yummy ingredients that are known to acidify and dilute pee. Bladder stones can be really painful and this will help dissolve them and – even better – make them less likely to come back. One of the substances bladder stones are made of is magnesium, so Feline Urinary S/O contains only small amounts to make it harder for stones to form. It's also full of something called glycosaminoglycans, which healthy cats already have in their bladders. These are great for dealing with pain and inflammation in your cat's bladder, turning them back into the happy, healthy friend you know and love.
Veterinary diets like this one have been specially made to support pets with specific medical conditions. Because of this, we'd recommend getting professional advice before feeding this to your pet. If you think your cat could benefit from eating Royal Canin Feline Urinary S/O, why not have a chat with your vet?

Perfect food for my catAfter surgery for removal of stones my cat now has this food for life. He happily eats it and seems to drink more water now so it's doing the job. Best price that I have found and usually in stock. Prompt delivery most of the time. Highly recommend this site
Urinary cat foodHad to change from biscuits to the wet food because our cat no longer chew the biscuits. The cat loves it, it has also helped with his constipation. Our cat has been eating urinary food for 24 of his 28 years. I would always recommend this site, easy to use, great service, always deliver on time.
Urinary foodAfter having bladder stones removed this food was advised by the vet for my cat for life, the food is excellent and I find it cheaper on pet supermarket, however I have now been waiting over a week for the food to arrive and have now been asked to review my purchase before I actually have the product, excellent food, poor delivery.
