Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23 Dry
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23 helps your cat recover from renal failure and keeps them well fed while they do.
What it’s for
If your cat suffers from kidney problems, it can be hard to find something they’ll want to eat. Often they can lose their appetites entirely. This is partly because some of the side effects of kidney failure are vomiting, diarrhoea and feeling tired all the time. That’s why it’s particularly important for cats with this kind of health problem to eat a specially designed food with all the right nutrients to replace the ones they’re losing.
- helps your cat’s kidneys to return to normal
- incredibly tasty to tempt your cat
- nutritious ingredients help to keep your cat healthy throughout recovery.
How it works
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23 is designed to be especially tempting for your cat. 23 sources of animal proteins, along with a wide range of flavours, will keep your cat coming back to their food bowl while they recover. It also comes in a variety of kibble types and flavours to appeal to your cat’s specific preferences!
One of the more serious consequences of renal failure is a condition called secondary hyperparathyroidism. This is a condition that means your cat’s kidneys are unable to process the same amount of phosphorous as usual. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23 is specially made to be low in phosphorous so it’s gentle on your cat’s kidneys, and doesn’t strain their ability to process phosphorous.
Omega-3 long-chain fatty acids strengthen your cat’s weakened kidneys and help to nurse them back to their normal function. Even better, Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23 is fortified with antioxidants. These help to fight off cancer-causing free radicals and boost your cat’s immune system.
Veterinary diets like this one have been specially made to support pets with specific medical conditions. Because of this, they might not be suitable for all pets, so we'd recommend getting professional advice before feeding them to your pet. If you think your cat could benefit from eating Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Renal RF 23, why not have a chat with your vet?

Ongoing satisfactionHave had 2 cats on RC Renal dry food for years, on advice of vet, after the older one started showing problems with kidneys. He lived until 2 weeks short of 18, which was amazing for a Persian cat. The 2nd one, also a Persian, is almost 15 & still going strong, with the RC mixed with some ordinary wet food and a little chicken & which she always eats first!. Both cats would happily eat just the dry RC if nothing else were on offer. Delivery has been much more reliable for at least the last year.
