Product details

Inadequate kidney workload may induce ureamic crisis. An adapted content of high quality protein helps reduce kidney by reduction of the generation of nitrogen waste products, which accumulate in body fluids.

Chronic kidney disease can lead to metabolic acidosis. Formulated with alkalinizing agents.

A specific aromatic profile allows for differences in individual preference, because cats with CKD are more likely to develop inappetence or food aversion.

  • Renal workload
  • Metabolic equilibrium
  • Appetite preference

  • Great for elderly cats
My 19 year old has been on this diet for over 2 years now and has improved at lot, even put a bit of weight on. She eats this well with her few teeth she has left. I mix the gravy up with her supplements in the morning and she is happy to eat it like that. She loved it cold from the fridge in the Summer when she was hot . I would recommend this but with the advice from your Vet as always.

  • Sparkle loves it
My cat Sparkle loves this food. She was diagnosed in January with kidney damage and we were really upset, however since moving onto the renal diet with Canin she eats more than ever but her weight stays consistent, she is leaner and more active and the great news is that her levels with her kidneys have dropped which is the best news ever.

  • Recommended!
Our cat Florence was hyperthyroid, which was masking the early kidney problem. The vet recommended Royal Canin Renal and she took to it straight away. Even one of our other cats tries to lick the saucer!!

  • Smudge loves it.
Smudge was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism over a year ago, then, this year, kidney problem. His vet advised Royal Canin Renal. Smudge had become very fussy with his usual food, so I was worried the change wouldn't help. I didn't need to!! He loves it, and empties his dish every time.
