Hill's Prescription Diet w/d Digestive/Weight Management Chicken is specifically designed for the nutritional management of obese and slightly overweight cats. This diet has been formulated to help manage cats who are prone to gaining weight, thereby avoiding serious conditions including arthritis, heart disease and diabetes.

Good productMy vet suggested I find a lower calorie product for my cat as she has put on quite a bit of weight over the winter as she hasn't been going out as much due to weather. I was a little worried my cat might not like the product but I have had no problems with her having a different product. Just waiting to see results as she hasn't been on this product for long.

Great brand for effective weight lossMy cat has been prescribed Hills diet food by our Vet for nearly a year now and her weight loss results have been very positive. She was 6.9 kg and is now just under 5.5 kg so a much more healthy weight. The idea is to allow gradual rather than fast weight loss so that it's less likely to pile back on and this has really worked. I am new to the w/d prescription as our cat was previously on r/d, which is a slightly stricter diet, but I am confident that it will work in a similar way.
