Proden Plaqueoff cat 40g is a 100% natural complement to your cat's daily oral hygiene and has been designed to deliver all the benefits of plaqueoff animal but has been specially formulated to appeal to our feline friends with a more discerning pallet. By adding brewers yeast, an ingredient which cats love, to the seaweed, plaqueoff cat has proved irresistible to a panel of cat critics.Proden Plaqueoff is a completely natural product. Free from additives and artificial preservatives and contains no gluten or added sugar.
As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly forms in the mouth of all cats and dogs. Once plaque has calcified into tartar it can no longer be brushed off. In many cases it has to be removed by a vet using ultrasound and anesthetic.
If tartar build-up is left untreated it can result in bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay and premature tooth loss. Tartar that is allowed to remain for too long can also cause infections that can spread throughout the body and damage the heart, lung, liver and negatively affect kidney functions.
Ingredients
Composition: Specially selected seaweed: ascophyllum nodosum, d1070, natural iodine 0.08%, brewers yeast (10%).
Analytical Constituents: Crude Protein: 5.8%, Crude Fat: 2.4%, Ash: 15.27%.
Warnings
Not recommended for animals with a thyroid condition. No studies have been carried out with specific focus on the effects of Proden Plaqueoff on pregnant or lactating animals. Therefore, we do not recommend giving the product to pets that are pregnant or lactating
Dosage
1 scoop daily- simply sprinkle onto wet or dry food.
Start with a smaller amount to get your cat accustomed to the taste, then increase to the recommended quantity. Sprinkle the product on top of the food or mix it with the dry or wet food once a day. How long it takes before you notice an effect on tartar and bad breath is individual. This product is not a substitute for veterinary attention.

Cats love it as does the VetVets and cats have lovely fangs, albeit for different reasons, I suspect the vet has her own version of Plaquoff.
