Balanced and complete feed for adult cats - Recommended to help reduce hairball formation.
Cats often spend large parts of its day self-grooming and can therefore swallow large quantities of hair. This ingested hair can become compacted in the digestive tract, resulting in the formation of hairballs which are then either regurgitated or eliminated through its faeces.Hairballs can cause discomfort and soreness through stomach aches and regurgitation, as well as digestive health problems - including the loss of nutrition through regurgitated hairballs. Royal Canin® Hairball Care is composed of a specific blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium (rich in mucilage) and insoluble fibres to help naturally stimulate a healthy intestinal transit. As a result, hair swallowed daily can be eliminated in its faeces rather than building up in the stomach and being regurgitated. Royal Canin® Hairball Care contains a precise combination of nutrients with a high protein content and a high fat content to ensure that a healthy level of nutrients is maintained effectively. This product is also formulated with an accurate balance of minerals to help maintain the health of your adult cat's urinary system. Royal Canin® Hairball Care has been proven to eliminate twice as much excess hair in a cat's body after just 14 days of feeding. To cater to each cat's individual preferences, Royal Canin® Hairball Care is also available as wet food in delicious gravy. If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. At Royal Canin® we're committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet's needs. All of our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food as well as catering to your cat's specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. My cats love these biscuits. 😼
Royal Canin Intense Hairball biscuits.
I give these to my 2 cats every day to help with hairball and it works very well. They rarely bring up hairballs , despite both being long haired cats. They both really dislike getting groomed so it's important to have a product that works well to maintain a healthy digestive system and this really does work well.
My poor Wee Dwighty is super floofy and has started getting lots of hairballs. Since he turned 1 year old he became super fussy with wet food, but has always loved his dry food. With the Royal Canin Hairball Care wet food he can't wait to shove his head into the bowl and scoff the lot, to the point he now comes looking for me around tea time as he wants it NOW! His fur has always been super floofy and soft but now he has a glossy healthy shine to his coat and he is definitely more active since getting the Royal Canin Hairball Care food. He'll defintely be staying on both sets (wet & Dry) as no hairballs have appeared recently so good news on that front! Â
We have a very fussy long hair, who has a tendency to overgroom. He is very particular about what he eats and has reluctantly given the wet food a try, however he can't get enough of the dry food. We have sprinkled some of the biscuits onto the wet food and he is a bit more keen. I have noticed a slight improvement to the hairball situation in as much as the regularity has reduced but it is still a little too early to tell.
My 2 cats absolutely love the dry food more than the wet food. Both would eat from each others bowls even though they had the same in there. Unfortunately they didn’t like the wet chunks of food, they licked all the Gravy off though.
