Arden Grange Cat Food Feeding Guide
There are two recommended ways to feed your cat depending on preference: 1) Divide the daily portion (see chart) into two meals a day: 1/2 in the morning 1/2 in the evening. 2) Place the daily portion in your cat’s bowl in the morning and allow your cat to consume freely throughout the day. May be fed dry or with warm water added. If warm water is added, free feeding should not apply.
Recommended Feeding Chart
Using the Feeding ChartsThe Arden Grange feeding charts will give an estimation of the daily feeding quantity based on your cat or dog’s weight.
It is important to remember however that these figures are guidelines only, and there are several factors to be taken into account when assessing your pet’s nutritional requirements : -
Temperament (stressed animals burn off more calories than relaxed ones)
Metabolism (every animal is an individual with his or her own speed of metabolism; this means that 2 dogs of the same age, breed and weight could have different daily calorie requirements)
In order to provide the correct portions, it is also helpful to assess your pet’s appetite, visual appearance and stools. Whilst poo watching does not sound particular pleasant, it is one of the best indicators of health. Increased frequency of passing faeces, production of large quantities of stools of loose motions are often frequent signs that an animal is receiving more food than he or she requires.
It is important to obtain an accurate weight for your cat or dog, and also to weigh out the food. Guessing on both accounts gives a large margin of error.

Happily eaten, well digested. My 3 cats all like this dry food very much, and they are all fussy eaters. I do ring the changes now and again if they seem to be getting bored, but they always come back to Arden Grange chicken and potato. It is a bit pricey but lasts a long time.
LOVE YOUR CATS? GIVE THEM THE BEST!AMENDMENT TO MY REVIEW OF 4 NOVEMBER 2016: The wheat-free content is POTATO not rice but everything I say about it still applies.
LOVE YOUR CATS? GIVE THEM THE BEST!All my cats have had ARDEN GRANGE since it first became available and they love it. This includes my feral visitor, who has been enjoying it for two years now. It is properly balanced, does not cause ill-effects and is safe for their kidneys but the cats must always have access water, of course. It is very reassuring to know that one is giving one's cats an extremely high quality food and it has been improved over the years and is now wheat-free having rice in it instead, which is so easily digestible. There is an excellent range to cover all stages of a cat's life. I can highly recommend ARDEN GRANGE.
I have two cats and one of them has pancreatic insufficiency and is very fussy too. Since I started them on this food, I've had no cases of vomiting and the food disappears very quickly - they love it! Amazing value for money too compared to prescription diets. Highly recommended.
My kits love this food, it's good quality so no waste and ethically produced too. Not the cheapest, but worth getting decent food in return for healthy pets.
