Baskerville Ultra Muzzle
The comfortable design of the Baskerville Ultra muzzle keeps your dog safe when out on walkies.
What it's for
Even if your pet is well-trained, they can react when feeling stressed or worried in unknown environments. The legal penalties for bad behaviour can be harsh, so using a muzzle when going into new situations can be reassuring. The face cover prevents them from accidentally snapping at another animal or human.
Make sure it's comfortable to wear by gently measuring your pet's snout with a flexible tape. Measure from the tip of the nose to the point where it slopes up to their eyes to get the right length. You'll also need to measure around the widest part of the face with their mouth closed. With six sizes available in the Baskerville range, you'll be sure to find the right fit by using the handy size guide. Always supervise your dog when they're wearing a muzzle.

How it works
This soft plastic muzzle is lightweight and very easy to put on. The loops mean it can be attached to a normal collar. An overhead safety strap keeps it in place and the neoprene padding is comfortable against their face.
If you're walking past an unfamiliar dog, or going into a new location, you can't be sure how your pet will react. If your dog becomes spooked, the muzzle stops them from snapping.
When training your pet, positive reinforcement is essential. This muzzle is designed to allow you to give your dog a treat. Choose a length with one centimetre of clear space at the end of their nose, so they can open their mouth to eat, drink and pant.
Sizes available are for typical adult dogs. Juveniles may need a size smaller. Baskerville height must allow mouth to open in panting; length must have 1cm clear from end of nose.

Sizing: Using a soft measuring tape, measure the length of your dog’s snout from the end of his nose to the point where the snout starts to slope upwards to the eyes as shown in the drawing below. Then, measure around the widest part of your dog's snout while his mouth is closed.
