• Don't like this: ends up as glue
  I wanted a natural cat litter that I could put on the compost heap. This stuff is horrible. The cat pee makes it go into a starch glue and it gets spread around because it so light. It can also dry to concrete hardness at the bottom of the litter tray. I find it doesn't even degrade that well because it hangs around in a sticky mess. I guess I am a bit mean with it and don't put a huge depth of litter, and I guess our cat is a big volume producer of pee with a bit of renal problem. So good effort perhaps in making it out of vegetable matter. If you don't mind using a great deal of cat litter and change it very regularly this may work for you as the reviews suggest. But I won't buy it again.

• Clumps TOO well
  I've been on the hunt for a clumping cat litter that is natural, made from recycled products and can be easily removed from the litter tray. This does clump well, but the clumps turn to lumps of concrete and stick to the litter tray if they touch it - making them very difficult to remove without using a lot of force. The clumps also get a bit 'soggy' and stuck all over the scoop which made it quite messy...

• My cat and I love this litter
  The trick is to put enough in, because if you are stingy with it, then the clumps can stick to the bottom of the tray. When you fill the tray to the 5 cm (or more) recommended it works great. Having a cover on the tray prevents it going outside when cat covers things. Easy to vacuum up the bits that might get outside. Very clean and does not smell at all! Brilliant!!!

• I think I have found the right cat litter
  It absorb the smells really well and removing the clumps regularly definitely helps to keep the litter "clean" longer. It does track a little. One draw back is the clumps can stick to your litter box or scoop if it had not dried in the litter.

• Great product and very efficient!
  I always used to buy the Catsan Hygiene litter, I liked the fact is non clumping, white and light weight. I tried the Catsan Natural because I never saw it before and I wanted to try it, and I have to say I love it. The granules as very small, almost like sand, the colour is beige and it has a pleasant smell like natural wood when you get close to it in order to clean it. Being a clumping litter I noticed that it lasts longer because rather than throw away the whole litter and put some fresh one like I would do with the non clumping one, with this I just have to get rid of the balls that formed and simply top it up, which makes it a better place for cats, especially after few days where with the other Catsan litter they would find themselves in a litter that is half clean half dirty. I can’t certainly change litter everyday and Catsan Natural is a great choice for keeping the litter much more clean and longer. Also, as my cats use to scatter around the litter, being this granules smaller it’s also less noticeable around the room and easier to hoover it. It is more expensive than the non clumping Catsan Hygiene litter but it is definitely worth it, I think I will always buy this from now on. ***Please rember that even though biodegradable you don’t want to throw it in the toilet, just dispose as the usual litter.
