It works but the effect doesn't last for 30 days.My adult tabby has a sensitive immune system and most spot-on treatments cause side effects for days, like lethargy, itchiness. Except for Flevox. I love that it doesn't cover internal parasites -- I have something else for that I use once every 3 months, no need to give a dewormer every month! She never had a flea infestation but going outside daily, she gets 1-2 fleas every now and then and starts to overgroom herself. I put on Flevox and within only hours she slows down on overgrooming. However, the effect does not last for 30 days. I have a hunch there are different factors like how aggressive fleas are in the environment or that season and things like that but for example this month 22 days after I applied Flevox, I saw an alive flea on my cat's nose and it stayed there for a solid 15 minutes until I realized it was a flea. Not a problem, I would rather have a product gentle for her sensitive immune system but I learned by now to use the next a few days earlier than 30 days.
