Hill's Prescription Diet Dental Care t/d Dry Dog Food - Chicken
Hill's Prescription Diet Canine t/d is a special food that keeps your dog's teeth and gums healthy while giving them all the nutrition they need for a healthy life.
What it's for
You wouldn't go to bed without brushing your teeth, would you? Well, your dog’s teeth and gums need just as much attention as yours do. If your dog has bad dental health, they can end up with smelly breath, tartar, swollen gums and sore teeth. Those problems are a good reason to look after your dog’s teeth, but did you know that bad oral hygiene can lead to more serious problems too?
The build-up of plaque and tartar can even have a bad effect on your dog’s organs. Plaque and tartar are build-ups of bacteria, and they can travel round your dog’s system damaging their kidneys, heart and metabolic systems. The longer you let them build up, the higher the chances are that your dog could face an illness.

How it works
Hill's Prescription Diet Canine t/d has all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your dog needs for a healthy diet. It's main function, however, is to keep your dog's dental health on point. The kibbles have a special shape and larger size so that they clean teeth as they crunch through. The recipe includes plenty of calcium, keeping teeth strong and healthy.
The food is also packed with essential minerals, proteins and vitamins E and C. This mixture offers a lot more nutrients than normal food, giving your dog's overall health a great boost. Hill's have added antioxidants to the recipe, perfect for supporting the immune system and fighting free radical molecules which can lead to cell damage. The yummy flavour means it's easy to swap this food with their old favourite.
Veterinary diets like this one have been specially made to support pets with specific medical conditions. Because of this, they might not be suitable for all pets, so we'd recommend getting professional advice before feeding them to your pet. Arrived promptlyJust as the product should be. Rating the product is a bit silly as it was suggested by the vet.
Hill t/d dental care Chicken bites. My dog was recommended to use these. He loves them. But he still gets some of his usual food. He has three of these a day. & has done for several years. His teeth are quite good. We also use dental chew sticks.
Tasty food with added bonus of dental hygeinethis was recommended to me as a good product to keep teeth healthy. Have two dogs, one a hoover, the other fussy but they both like these. We only give one each per meal with their other kibble but that is the first thing they eat.
Great for using as a trear alternativeA much healthier alternative to treats and these are proven to help with gums and teeth , they have made such a difference to my dogs teeth who have flat faces so are prone to teeth issues, definitely recommend
Great productHills t/d dental care was recommended by my vet for my six year old collie. I've reduced the quantity of Bobs normal food by two thirds and then I give him a big handful of Hills t/d as a treat at the end of his meal. He won't touch any of the usual dental sticks but he loves these crunchy nuggets. His teeth are looking good and I've noticed that his poo is more bulky and less soft. Medicanimal charge less than the vet and delivery is fast and reliable.
