Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary Adult Dry Cat Food
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary S/O LP 34 has everything your cat needs for a healthy diet, and is specially designed to treat kidney stones and bladder problems.
What it’s for
As your cat eats, some minerals in their food can start to stick together inside their body. Over time, these minerals form crystals, which can then grow into something called a kidney stone. These stones are very uncomfortable for your cat, and can make it harder for them to go to the loo.
Cats are very private when they go to the toilet (who can blame them?), so it might be hard to spot if your cat has a bladder problem or kidney stones. The best thing to do is take them to your vet, especially if you see any blood in their wee. Luckily, kidney stones can be dissolved by special diets, like Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary S/O LP 34. Your vet might suggest you try this food for up to 12 weeks, by which time your feline friend is likely to be back to their happy, mischievous old selves!
- helps dissolve troublesome kidney stones
- special ingredients can stop more stones forming
- low magnesium, which is a cause of crystal formation
- makes it easier for your cat to go to the toilet.
How it works
This food is carefully blended to help break down kidney stones in your cat’s system. Some minerals in your cat’s food, especially magnesium, can slowly turn into crystals over time. This can then lead to kidney stones or bladder problems. The amount of magnesium in this food is very low, which can help stop these crystals forming.
The special mix of ingredients also makes it easier for your cat to go to the toilet. It dilutes your cat’s wee, which can prevent crystals and kidney stones taking root in the first place. If your cat keeps getting kidney stones, then this can help to keep them healthy, active, and comfortable!
Because veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of pets with specific clinical conditions, we recommend that you only use them under professional advice. Great Service great food .My cat loves Canine Fibre response and it keeps his inside healthy too
My cats love this productI bought this originally because my cat had to have an operation to remove crystals from his bladder in February 2021. I came back from the vet's with a bag of this food and he loves it - and so do my other cats! I am pleased to say that the cat it was intended for has, so far, remained healthy and well.
Every cat home should have someGreat product which lives up to its billing. All the cats wolf it down faster than you can say repeat order. Every cat home should have a bag.

Great for hungry moggiesMy cat loves this product and hasn’t had any recurrence of stones since being on the diet. The dry diet is preferred especially in summer.
