ProDen PlaqueOff® Dental Bones are dog chews with proven PlaqueOff® Powder as one of the ingredients. Used daily, this natural product made with kelp can significantly complement ordinary dental hygiene. ProDen PlaqueOff® System Dental Care Bones help prevent plaque formation. The bone's unique shape and abrasive action helps to remove plaque and tartar, helping to freshen breath. Dogs constantly produce new plaque in their mouths. If not treated, they can calcify into tartar, something that cannot be brushed away from the teeth. Instead, a vet needs to remove tartar with anesthesia and ultrasound. If the tartar remains untreated, it can lead to infections being passed in the animal's body, which can damage the heart, lungs, liver and adversely affect renal function. Our goal is to offer you effective and simple options for your pet's dental and oral hygiene. Free from additives and artificial preservatives and contains no gluten or added sugar.

Composition: Dried potatoes, vegetable glycerin, water, sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, dried kelp, flaxseed, alfalfa, dried bacillus coagulants, fermentation product, natural pumpkin spice flavor, lecithin, algae meal, citric acid (preservative).

Perfect for dogs on a low Putin's diet.I bought these for my Shin Tzu who has to have a low purine diet and these are the only ones I could find anywhere that don't contain yeast (high in purine). They are huge bones but you break them in half for smaller dogs and I'm glad to say she really likes them. They do seem expensive but by breaking them in half the price works out much better and I know that they are good for her teeth too.

I trust this product.I trust this product based on the ingredients listed and the fact that they seem a good consistency (they aren't too hard). Apparently if a chew is too hard to break (I split these in half for my smaller dog) the chew isn't safe. In my search for more natural products, I tried a deer antler chew in the past but it was literally rock hard and my Yorkie wouldn't touch it. I can't say if PlaqueOff Care Bones have helped with his tartar yet because I have only so far used one packet and my dog won't let me look at his teeth (!) but I'm about to re-order in the hope that they work, the fact they are grain free and because they are very palatable - my Yorkie loves them!

Not a winnerI have a 14 year old collie who will eat just about anything. One sniff of this and she walked away. She’ll have Plaque Off in powder form in her food but refuses to touch this. Disappointed.
